CODE AFTER SCHOOL

The Code After School program begins where traditional education ends. Students are still engaged in learning mode directly after school and transition seamlessly into the curriculum. The program aims to expose middle school and high school students with little to no programming experience to the world of computer science, by incrementally introducing technology concepts, principles of computer science, programming languages and development tools.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be able to define the core principles of computer science and concepts of technology
  • Participants will be able to build front-end websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Participants will be able to use development tools to at a novice level of proficiency.
