Youth Tech Exploration
Empower young learners with one of five interactive tech stations! Dive into Kano Computer Kits, Sphero Rovers, HTML/CSS, Augmented Reality, and Apple Playgrounds. Each station is designed to inspire creativity and introduce essential tech skills in a fun, engaging way.

Celebrate the incredible work of our Summer Discovery students as they present the mobile app prototypes they've developed over the past five weeks! This culminating event will feature a student-led pitch competition where teams share their innovative ideas, designs, and problem-solving skills.

Come support our young creators, explore their app concepts, and see how they're using technology to make a difference!

• Adult Tech: Intro to Supabase: Led by Donovan Brown, discover how to start your project with Supabase, an open-source Firebase alternative, using a PostgreSQL database.

Join JOURNi and Ford Philanthropy for our Black History Month S.T.E.A.M. Winter Camp, designed for 5th through 8th graders! From February 17-19, 2025, at the Ford Community Center East in Detroit, students will explore AR, storytelling, animation, and hands-on activities. Breakfast and lunch are provided, with expert instruction by Krissie Knight and Dememkco Eberhardt. All participants who attend all three days will receive a full registration refund.
