JOURNi’s Next-Up Summer STEM Program
Powered by the Ballmer Group & United Way for Southeastern Michigan
In partnership with the Ballmer Group and United Way of Southeastern Michigan, JOURNi’s Summer STEM Program is a dynamic five-week experience designed to empower Metro Detroit students with essential academic and tech skills. Starting June 23rd, this no-cost program is built to spark curiosity, build confidence, and set the foundation for future success.
Students will spend their mornings sharpening core skills with 3 hours of focused Math and English lessons, and their afternoons diving into 2.5 hours of hands-on STEM activities, such as:
Mobile App Design(With Swift Coding)
AI and Machine Learning
Robotics & Drones
3D Printing
Computer Repair
Financial Literacy
Presentation Skills
And field trips to explore career pathways
All participants will receive free breakfast and lunch daily
